GDY Publications is pleased to inform the general public and
Tanzanian high schools in particular the advent of the highly awaited
Advanced Mathematics for Form V and form VI. The books, pictured
below, culminated a 6-year brain challenging journey of putting
together the first competence based advanced mathematics
textbooks in the country. The books are thorough, incorporate
colourful illustrations, contains more than the average demonstrated
examples, is printed in full color and comes at affordable prices.
In his remarks, the CEO of the GDY Publications Company Ltd. – Mr.
Gabriel Kitua said that this is a milestone not only for the company
but also for the country. For the first time in our history, we shall
witness the textbooks that covers 100% of our syllabus and that were
prepared at the international best standards.
We are highly excited that as the country engage different
stakeholders in preparing the schooling youth towards science skills,
the text books will usher in a special boost toward the goal. These
textbooks come a year after the launch of the other landmark - Basic
Applied Mathematics (BAM) for advanced secondary schools. Since
its launch BAM textbooks have had an invaluable support to the
science and business oriented teachers and students.
Advanced Mathematics textbooks are being printed abroad. They will
be on circulation by mid October 2015. Schools may order directly
